Absolutely! It's amazing. I started about 3 years ago with first graders. This year I went back to teaching kindergarten (couldn't be happier!) and am thrilled by what these little guys can do! I'd love to get laptops for my classroom so that I ca...

Hi Amie. Thanks for the comment. Your class blog is great by the way. Would you mind if I use it as an example to show my administrator an example of what blogging can look like in the early years? We are hopping to start class blogs next year.
It is great to see people blogging in early childhood. To tell you the truth I have had a difficult time finding a lot of examples.
Do you use your blog to mainly to communicate with parents? Other classes?
Regards,
Steve

Hey Polly, I've never used that gadget, so I'm not too sure. Perhaps you could road test it for us and let us know if it works.
I'm glad you joined us and hopefully I'll get more active . . . right now I can only use the computer at the public library while I'm out of state for the month.

Hi Amie
I found this gadget on your site that says something about translating the page into another language. Is it something I can put on my website so my Spanish speaking and Arab families can translate my website? Is there HTML I can copy and paste? How does the gadget work? Thanks!

PS I think it is SO COOL to have a place for early childhood tech! Thank you for this!

Amie, I found your Ning through your blog. I didn't want to sign up for an edublogger account to leave a message. Is there a way to set your messages so anyone can comment? I know another person on Twitter was wondering the same thing. Anyway, it was good to hear that your presentation went well. Enjoy rest of the conference. I have sent your student site to some of the teachers in my school. I am going to invite the prek-second grade teachers to join your Ning. I'll be back looking for ideas I can use in the lab with my young students. Thanks for setting this up. Was it easy to set up? I'm thinking about setting one up for elementary tech teachers to share ideas. Nedra

Hi Amie,
I am bored already, so I stopped in at school to work on some of those donated books. I have a busy end of the week, and then I'll be ready for Monday. Enjoy your time with the girls!
